In spite of the monumental challenges facing our country, the team at Hinkle Prior & Fischer are here for you – because advocacy for people with disabilities can never take a sick day. Can never be quarantined. Can never rest. With the closure of schools, day programs, and other services, few will face more challenges than people with disabilities and their families.
The safety of our clients and our staff is paramount. Through an executive order, the Governor has asked us and other New Jersey businesses to close our physical offices, but we continue to work from our homes and have converted all of our previously scheduled appointments to telephonic or virtual meetings. We continue to schedule new appointments and we will continue to remain available by phone and email in order to ensure the unique needs of our vulnerable community are met. If you wish to speak with an attorney, you can reach us at (609) 896-4200.
We know families are concerned about services for their loved one – so are we. Many of us at the firm have children and siblings who are in the state service system too, including residential placements, day programs, and special education services. We are closely following developments as they relate to the provision of special education and related services, housing, Medicaid, day program services, and health care. We also sit on the board of trustees of many of the New Jersey’s largest and most prominent disability-related organizations and are spending countless pro-bono hours helping our community partners navigate these uncharted waters.
We have stood beside you for 46 years. We continue to stand beside you today and always.
All of us at Hinkle Prior & Fischer wish good health and safety to all.
