Hinkle, Fingles & Prior, Attorneys at Law is proud to partner with Eden Autism Services, a not-for-profit organization with a mission to improve the lives of children and adults with autism, to bring you this unique advocacy program. Six workshops will address the legal and advocacy issues facing parents, guardians and siblings of those affected by autism spectrum disorders from the early years following diagnosis, through the school years, and into adult life.

Under federal special education laws, “transition” services means a coordinated set of activities for a student, designed within a results-oriented process, that promotes movement from school to post-school activities, including post-secondary education, vocational education, integrated employment (including supported employment), continuing and adult education, adult services, independent living, or community participation.
